
Inauguration of ‘Satyabadi Srujanika’ on Utkal Dibasa
Satyabadi, 01/04/2024 (Saswat TV): On the occasion of Utkal Dibasa, a discussion forum titled “The Relevance, Purpose, and Influence of Satyabadi Srujanikar on Future Generations” was organized by the Satyabadi Sahitya Srujani Parishad at Bakulban Panchasakha Samadhi Peetha, Satyabadi.
The Parishad, comprising local academicians, intellectuals, and eminent personalities, has committed itself to preserving and promoting the legacy of Panchasakha, great leaders, Banavidyalaya, Bakulban, Siddha Balaram, Ratnachira, Guptabrindavan, and above all, the divine union of Radha and Krishna—all through meaningful literary expression. As part of this mission, the biannual magazine “Satyabadi Srujanika”, edited by Prof. Dr. Basanta Kumar Rath, was officially unveiled during the event.
Copies of the newly launched magazine were distributed among the participants. Editor Dr. Rath announced that two issues of the biannual magazine will be published each year—on 1st April (Utkal Dibasa) and 9th October (Gopabandhu Jayanti).
The event and the magazine launch saw the presence and participation of several distinguished guests, including advocate Umaballav Mohapatra, Prof. Brundaban Chandra Rath, former editor of Central Odia Sahitya Department Manas Ranjan Mohapatra, children’s author Birendra Mahanti, Prof. Abhimanyu Barala, Anam Mallik, Bijay Mishra, Pranab Mishra, Prof. Sulekha Basanti Devi, Dr. Debaprasad Dash, Prof. Ajay Dash, Prof. Sunanda Tripathy, Mrs. Basanta Manjari Mishra, Sujata Devi, Bishakha Devi, Sunanda Mahanti, Bandana Mahapatra, Archana Dash, advocate Gundicha Barala, Bandana Sahitya editor and co-editor of the magazine Ravindra Nath Sadhangi and Abhaya Pradhan.
Writers, poets, and essayists from Puri, Pipili, Delang, Bhubaneswar, and the Satyabadi region contributed valuable insights and helped make the program a success. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rajkishore Pati, followed by well-wishes for the prosperous future of the initiative.
