Condolence Meeting Held in Memory of Veteran Journalist and Puri District Journalists’ Association President

A condolence meeting was organized at the Khuntia Convention Hall in Kakatpur to pay tribute to the late Tribikram Ramakrishna Mahapatra — President of the Puri District Accredited Journalists’ Association, former student leader, senior journalist, office bearer of several organizations, prominent politician, and social worker. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of Kamal Lochan Dixit, President of the Kakatpur Press Club.
Journalists from Kakatpur, along with those from Astarang and Konark regions, including MD Soumyakanta Khuntia of Khuntia Convention, gathered to express their grief. A two-minute silent prayer was offered for the peace of the departed soul.
Following this, participants reflected on the remarkable contributions of the late Mahapatra, particularly highlighting his dedication, leadership, and organizational capabilities in journalism and public life.
Among those present were senior journalists Samarendra Dixit, Niranjan Das, Sanjay Pati, Prabhat Dixit, Purnachandra Panda, Manas Dixit, Pradeepta Kumar Dixit, Pradeep Panda, Prabhas Kumar Prusti, Nrusingha Behera, Aditya Raut, Bhagabat Swain, Lokanath Swain, Prakash Dash, Brajakishore Sahu, and Subhadrshan Mishra, among others, who paid their respects and shared memories of the departed.
