Journalist Aditya Honored with ‘Raktaveer’ Title
Kakatpur, October 2:
On the first day of the Donation Festival Week, a blood donation camp was organized by Mission Odisha. The event took place at the conference hall of Gopabandhu Ayurvedic College, Puri, and was inaugurated by Dr. Sujata Mishra, Chief District Medical Officer of Puri.
The program, held under the leadership of the organization’s secretary Madhusudan Mishra, featured several distinguished guests, including District Information and Public Relations Officer Santosh Kumar Sethi, District Culture Officer Hemanta Behera, Blood Bank Officer Deepak Kumar Sahu, former Municipal Chairman Gaurahari Pradhan, senior Sevayat Gopal Chandra Khuntia, Samarpan President Dr. Abhimanyu Bhuyan, social worker Manoj Rath, and Professor Bishwanath Mishra. All of them spoke on the importance of blood donation and encouraged the youth to actively participate in saving lives through this noble act.
The event was conducted by Jayanti Mahapatra, Soumyaranjan Patra, Sanjay Mahapatra, Govind Patra, Shivaram Pradhan, Debaraj Sahu, Satyanarayan Sahu, Swadhin Panda, Satya Patra, Dr. Pabitra Pradhan, Balarim Patra, Sagarika Rath, Joutimayi Bishwal, Charulata Das, Bishwanath Das, Sachinandan Dash, Pabitra Dalai, Jagannath Shadangi, Om Prasad Mohanty, Shyamprakash Senapati, and Manoj Kumar Nayak, head of Akhandalamani Yoga Education Center. Members of the Sadashiv Sanskrit Parishad were also present.
On this occasion, Badri Mishra was felicitated for achieving a lifetime milestone of 111 blood donations, and Aditya Kumar Raut from Kakatpur was honored with a certificate and memento for his significant contributions in the field of blood donation.
Aditya, a senior member of Kakatpur Press Club, has made 50 blood donations in 20 years, saving many lives. He has taken up blood donation as a life mission and continues his efforts to promote and support this noble cause. During the event at Gopabandhu Ayurvedic College in Puri, he was conferred with the title “Raktaveer” and awarded a certificate and memento.
In his remarks, Aditya dedicated the honor to his colleagues at Kakatpur Press Club and the Gopabandhu Social Organization, and expressed his commitment to keep such initiatives going in the future.
