Safe Drinking Water to Reach Every Home Through Basudha Scheme
An emergency meeting was held in Puri regarding the progress of the large-scale drinking water supply project under Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s ambitious Basudha scheme.
Yesterday, in the conference hall of the Puri Circuit House, a detailed discussion was conducted in the presence of the Puri Drinking Water Supply authorities. The meeting focused on ensuring the timely completion of the ongoing project that aims to supply clean drinking water from the Rushikulya River to 92 villages in Krushnaprasad Block under the Brahmagiri Assembly Constituency.
In addition, special deliberations were held on the swift completion of the under-construction project that will supply purified drinking water from the Daya River to 69 villages in Brahmagiri Block and 30 villages in Krushnaprasad Block through the Kusupur-based Water Purification Center in Brahmagiri Block.
