Blankets Distributed by Bakulban Mahotsav Committee
In Puruna Someswarpur village under Nua Someswarpur Panchayat of Satyabadi Block, the Bakulban Mahotsav Committee organized a blanket distribution program for more than a hundred persons with disabilities and economically disadvantaged individuals, aiming to protect them from the harsh winter cold.
The event was graced by chief guest Dr. Prasanna Pattashani and honored guests including Sandhyabati Pradhan (former official, Department of Child Welfare, Odisha), Mousumi Mahapatra (ABVO, Satyabadi), Rupak Kumar Bihara (social worker), poet Sachikanta Biswal, and Sankalpa Mishra.
Poet Prasanna Pattashani personally distributed the blankets and also raised awareness among attendees on how to stay safe during winter. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and joy for the support and extended their best wishes to the committee for its noble initiative.
The program was coordinated by the chairperson of the event, Sadhu Charan Behera, while the secretary of the Bakulban Mahotsav Committee, Jayati Keshari Ray, conducted the proceedings.
