Kakatpur Immersed in Devotion on Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha Day; Thousands Join Grand Procession
Kakatpur (Tushar Dixit), 22/1 — As the entire nation celebrated the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of Ram Lalla at the newly built Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kakatpur too witnessed an atmosphere filled with devotion and spiritual fervor.
Starting from 10 AM, a grand shobha yatra (procession) was held where young children, dressed as Lord Ram, Lakshman, and Sita, were seated on a beautifully decorated chariot. The procession made its way through the local market streets, resonating with chants of “Ram” that echoed throughout the area.
Hundreds of male and female devotees participated in the event, singing devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Ram. The procession began from the Vishwamitra Ashram in Kakatpur and concluded at the Swameshwar Temple.
The event was organized and coordinated by members of Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Sanatani Sangathan. Key organizers included Mihir Ranjan Dixit, Kabula Biswal, Ratikanta Behera, Sudarshan Swain, Soumendra Mishra, Padu Samal, Kailash Nayak, Alekh Mohanty, Tushar Behera, Mangala Samantaray, Dr. Salil Ranjan Dixit, Santosh Swain, and Rajkishore Mallik.
After the conclusion of the procession, all devotees gathered at the Swameshwar Temple to partake in the prasadam (holy offering), marking the end of a spiritually enriching day.
