102nd Sakshigopal Arrival Memorial Festival of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra Celebrated
25/01/2024, Sakshigopal — The 102nd Sakshigopal Arrival Memorial Festival of the most revered Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra, along with the 16th Annual Inauguration Celebration of the Satsang Mandir, was celebrated with devotion and grandeur under the auspices of Sakshigopal Satsang Vihar and the support of regional devotees and volunteers.
The event commenced early in the morning with Vedic chants, followed by Usha Kirtan (morning hymns), Usha Vinati (morning prayers), and scripture recitations. Later, a grand procession with the chariot of Sri Sri Thakur arriving from Puri was carried out around the town.
Before the main satsang, a devotional music program (Bhajananjali) was organized. Following this, the satsang was conducted under the priesthood of associate Ritwik Shri Gopinath Tripathy. Nearly 1,500 devotees participated in the celebration.
During the satsang, after the invocation prayers, associate Ritwik Shri Gouranga Charan Sahu delivered a discourse on truthfulness and self-discipline. The event also featured the release of the souvenir Tapodipali.
Devotional bhajans were rendered by yajna volunteers Rakhal Chandra Chand, Jayprakash Das, and Kshiti Mohan Pradhan, while associate Ritwik Shri Bairagi Charan Sahu led the chorus performances. Later, Bindusagar Ganguly performed Kirtan. The bhajans, kirtans, and chorus performances captivated the audience.
Associate Ritwik Shri Niranjan Behera began the discourse session, followed by Vedadyuti Sahu, who shared his spiritual experiences. The main speakers of the event, associate Ritwiks Shri Sridharsundar Mishra and Shri Sanjeev Nayak, inspired the devotees by sharing their experiences and encouraged everyone to follow the path shown by Sri Sri Thakur.
In conclusion, Shri Prahlad Ghatuari delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks to all attendees. The satsang concluded with a united Kirtan and the chanting of Vande Purushottama.
After the satsang, devotees enjoyed prasadam at the Anand Bazaar and returned home, carrying with them the spiritual essence and divine message of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra. The gathering reflected deep enthusiasm and devotion among all present.
