Brahmin Association Blesses Nilagiri MLA Candidate Shri Santosh Khatua

In a grand gathering held yesterday, the Nilagiri branch of the Balasore District Brahmin Association extended their blessings to Shri Santosh Khatua, the MLA candidate from Nilagiri.
According to reports, the Balasore District “Brahmin Association” was established in 1921 at Motiganj, Balasore, with financial assistance from the then Queen of Nilagiri, Anand Kumari Devi, and land donation from Zamindar Kashinath Panda.

As part of this tradition, the Nilagiri branch of the association organized an emergency meeting attended by more than 500 Brahmins. The meeting was presided over by Nilagiri Block President Shri Surya Narayan Shadangi. Key figures like Brahma Saroj Kumar Nanda, Jeevan Mishra, Ramesh Hota, and Yogendra Narayan Mishra conducted the proceedings. The event began with Vedic chanting.
MLA candidate Shri Santosh Khatua and his wife Sneh Lata Khatua were present at the gathering and humbly received blessings from the Brahmin priests.
