The Passing of the Bhishma Pitamah of State Politics and Former Kakatpur MLA Surendra Nath Nayak
Surendra Nath Nayak, former MLA of Kakatpur and revered as the Bhishma Pitamah of politics, made an unparalleled and ever-memorable contribution to Puri district. He passed away at his residence in Bhubaneswar at the age of 93. As both MLA and minister, he played a significant role in the development of various sectors in Odisha.
The Chief Minister has described his demise as an irreparable loss to the state. Prayers have been offered for the eternal peace of his soul before the Lord Jagannath, and heartfelt condolences have been extended to the grieving family.
