“Education Week” Celebrated at Kishan Nodal Upper Primary School

“Education Week” was grandly celebrated during the fourth week of July at Kishan Nodal Upper Primary School in Khuntiabanapur village under Kanas block of Puri district.

The first day of the week was observed as “Teaching Materials Day.” For the Foundation Stage students, activities like finger painting and hand painting were conducted with the cooperation of parents and teachers, based on the e-Jadui Pitara theme. Teachers and parents also narrated folk songs and folk tales to the children.

As part of the preparation activities, students from Classes 3 to 5 created charts on topics such as food, water, local markets, and their family. They also made colorful 3D models, fruit and vegetable crafts, and animal masks.

For the middle group students (Classes 6 to 8), a variety of puzzles, play materials, toys, masks, and story cards were prepared. A book exhibition was also arranged to encourage reading habits among them.

Teachers Siddheshwar Behera, Charulata Dei, and Mamata Murmu actively supported the event, while Head Teacher Prashant Kumar Mangaraj successfully coordinated and led the program.
