Children’s Day Celebrated at Jahan Public School

Children’s Day and the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru were celebrated with great enthusiasm at the prominent educational institution, Jahan Public School in Kakatpur, Puri district, under the guidance of the institution’s director, Sumitra Ghosh.
On this occasion, the principal of the institution, Mamata Mahapatra, addressed the gathering and highlighted that when Pandit Nehru became the first Prime Minister of independent India in 1947, he laid the foundation of democracy and unity. He emphasized establishing a free, democratic, and diverse system in India, focusing on bringing progress into the lives of every individual. She guided the students by mentioning that after Nehru’s death in 1964, his birthday has been observed as Children’s Day.
Among others present were Madhusmita Padhiari, Ashish Sahu, Prem Shankar Pujari, Bishnupriya Behera, Sasmita Samal, Lopamudra Mall, and Manasi Dash along with all the teachers and faculty members who participated in the event.
In conclusion, the students enjoyed sweets and actively took part in dance and songs, celebrating the occasion with great joy and enthusiasm.
