Honored by Gajapati Maharaja for Donating Fasi Wood

Nayagarh: 18/03/2025 – (Bhaskar Chandra Swain) – In recognition of their contribution towards the construction of the chariot, individuals who donated fasi wood were felicitated under the auspices of the Nayagarh Srimandir administration. Pankaj Kumar Gouda of Sipahi Ashrudhipa village in Nayagarh Block donated fasi wood for the purpose. In appreciation, he was honoured by Gajapati Maharaja Shri Dibyasingha Deb, Chairman of the Sri Jagannath Temple Managing Committee, along with Chief Administrator Dr. Aravinda Kumar Padhi. The world-renowned Rath Yatra of Srikhetra attracts countless devotees who witness the chariot procession of the divine Daru deities with deep devotion. Donors like Pankaj who perform such noble deeds by offering fasi wood are felicitated along with many others for their generous contributions.
