During the conference, participants held detailed discussions on issues related to the Brahmana community and passed several key resolutions. Among the major decisions were the proposal to establish a Vaidika Karmakanda Training Institute, construction of a Brahmana Bhavan at Srikshetra Puri, creation of a ₹10 crore “Brahmana Sahayata Kosha” corpus fund, and formation of a dedicated matrimonial support cell. A demand was also raised urging the Odisha Government to set up an Odisha Brahmana Development Corporation.

The inaugural session was addressed by Swami Sugunendra Teertha of Sri Puthige Math, Udupi, who highlighted the importance of unity and adherence to India’s timeless cultural values. Chief Guest Swami Bhakti Vaibhava appealed to the community to actively preserve and promote traditional Brahmana heritage.

Padma Shri recipient Dr. Ashok Mahapatra emphasized the need to strengthen research and academic work in Vedic and ritual sciences. Dr. Govind Kulkarni of Rashtriya Brahmana Mahasangha, Pune, encouraged self-reliance and entrepreneurship within the community, while Dr. Bipin Bihari Mishra of AIBF stressed the importance of expanding organizational activities and outreach.

Several other speakers, including CA Manindra Tiwari (New Delhi), Radheshyam Sharma (Ayodhya), Madhvi Jha (Patna), Adv. Ramesh Jois (Bengaluru), Dr. Gopal Acharya (Udupi), and Dr. Ramapriya (USA), also shared their views on community development and related concerns.

The concluding session was chaired by Dr. Sadananda Dikshita and coordinated by Er. Jagannath Padhi. On the occasion, a special edition of Brahma Sandesha was released, and notable members of the community were honoured.

Elections for 28 office bearers of OBM for a five-year tenure were also conducted under the supervision of Election Officer Baikunthanath Acharya.

The conference ended with a commitment to implement the proposed initiatives and to organize a large-scale Brahmana gathering in Bhubaneswar in the future. Concerns were also expressed over certain policies, including aspects of UGC regulations, considered unfavorable by the community.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Padmanabha Dash, who acknowledged the contributions of dignitaries, participants, and organizers, including Er. Prasanta Acharya, Hemant Rath, Srikant Mahapatra, Pradeep Tripathy, Subrat Dash, and Dr. Jagabandhu Misra.
