Annual Function of Ramakrishna Sishu Mandir Held
Kakatpur, 29/12 – The annual function of Ramakrishna Sishu Mandir, a leading educational institution run by Prachi Youth and Social Organization in Kakatpur, Puri district, was conducted in a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. The event was presided over by Debaraj Dixit. The chief guest was Indian-American engineer Basudev Rath, who stated in his address that creating a conducive academic environment in every educational institution is essential to improve the quality of education.
Distinguished guests included Shri Shreemaya Rath, founder of Books Rapid Education; Mandardhar Mohanty, Education Officer of Kakatpur Circle; retired education administrator and Executive Officer of Mangala Mandir Kailash Chandra Das; and the school’s Headmistress Shakuntala Das. The guests paid floral tribute to the image of Maa Mangala and lit ceremonial lamps to inaugurate the event.
Prabhat Dixit, the institution’s editor, presented the annual report and coordinated the event. Samarendra Dixit, editor of Prachi Youth and Social Organization and member of Kakatpur Panchayat Samiti, played a key role in organizing the function.
Renowned teacher and recipient of the President’s Award, Ishwar Chandra Nayak, was honored with the Agadhu Rath Education Award, while Kakatpur Block Vice Chairperson Smt. Sandhyarani Sahu was felicitated with the Kamala Devi Memorial Award.
The event concluded with cultural performances presented by the students of the institution.
