Shraddha Divas of Utkal Gaurav Observed at Satyabadi
The 89th Shraddha Divas (death anniversary) of Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das was observed by the Utkal Sammilani Puri District Branch at the Samadhi Peeth of the Panchasakha in Satyabadi under the leadership of President Shri Bhimasen Mahapatra.
The event included garlanding of Madhubabu’s photograph, lighting of lamps, and offering of incense, followed by the singing of the patriotic song “Vande Utkal Janani.”
A special feature of the occasion was the launch and review of the book “Tushar Manab” written by the eminent writer Shri Fakir Charan Padhi.
Speakers at the event shared insights into the life and contributions of Madhusudan Das. Among those who addressed or participated in the event were Surendra Mahapatra, Bishakha Devi, environmentalist Hrushikesh Padhi, teacher Abhaya Sahu, poet Rashmiranjan Sahu, poet Bijay Kumar Parida, Dr. Hemanta Kumar Chhotaray, poet Ashok Pradhan, poet Banamali Behera, Tapan Kumar Pradhan, and Bapuni Behera.
The vote of thanks was offered by Vice President Anam Malik.
