Strict Checking by Kakatpur Police
Kakatpur – On Tuesday, 7th February, following the instructions of Kakatpur Police Station IIC (Inspector-in-Charge) Priyaranjan Nayak, the police conducted strict checking at Ganesh Bazaar, the main market area of Kakatpur, which also serves as the route to the famous Maa Mangala temple. The operation focused on pedestrians and drivers of two-wheelers and four-wheelers heading towards Astaranga.
During the checking, drivers were stopped and made aware of the dangers of speeding, the importance of road safety, and the value of life. Those who were wearing helmets and seatbelts were appreciated and praised by the police.
The officers emphasized that both the police and the public must work together to maintain societal discipline. Drivers were informed that using helmets and seatbelts can help save lives.
The program was attended by ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) Krushna Chandra Sahoo, ASI Pramod Kumar Sethi, constables Surath Maharana, Babruvahan Mohanty, Durga Prasad Mishra, and Babaji Kandi, among others.
