Thousands of Temple Servitors in Odisha to Unite in the Coming Days

A significant meeting was held at the premises of Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar, organized by the Odisha Mandir Sevayat Sangha (Odisha Temple Servitors’ Association), involving members of the core management committee.
Servitors from various prominent temples across Odisha participated in the meeting, including those from Biraja Temple in Jajpur, Mangala Temple in Kakatpur, Sakhigopal Temple, Jagannath Temple in Baripada, Alarnath Temple, Shiruli Mahaveer Temple, Baladev Jew Temple in Keonjhar, Danda Mukundapur Temple, Jagannath Temple in Nilagiri, and Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar.
Notable personalities present included Aruup Pattnaik, President of Odisha Mo Paribar Advisory Council, Queen Manoja Manjari Devi of Nilagiri, Pandit Matru Prasad Mishra, National President of Aditiya Bahini, and Dr. Siddharth Sahu, a senior orthopedic surgeon. They all joined the discussion to address various issues faced by temples and servitors.
During the meeting, a proposal was made to bring together servitors from all major Peethas and temples in Odisha under one platform through a statewide servitor convention.
It was also proposed to establish a Sevayat Welfare Committee in Odisha. Servitors further demanded that the government should allocate a dedicated premises in the state capital for the activities of the Odisha Mandir Sevayat Sangha.
