Skilled Sculptors Informed About the “Vishwakarma Yojana” by BJP
Kakatpur, 17/9 – On the occasion of the worship of Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect of the universe, the artisans were informed about the “Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana,” announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at supporting 18 categories of skilled workers.
To ensure the successful implementation of the scheme at the grassroots level, an awareness program was conducted in the model village (Somnathpur Muduli Sahi) under the Kakatpur Assembly constituency and Othaka Panchayat. During this program, painters, handicraft artisans, sculptors, and masons were made aware of the benefits and objectives of the scheme.
Many youths, intellectuals, and women of the village expressed happiness and support for the scheme.
Present on the occasion were: Puri District Yuva Morcha Coordinator Priyabrata Biswal, former Mandal President Purnachandra Tripathy, District Committee Member Lalit Kumar Rath, Panchayat President Rabindra Behera, Vice-President Muna Behera, Gopabandhu Das, Dipun Tripathy, Bikash Muduli, Bhagirathi Mohanty, Prafulla Behera, and other key members.
