Cultural Programs Held Every Evening at Ganesh Bazaar
Kakatpur, 22/9 – The town of Kakatpur in Puri district is vibrant with festivities for the worship of Lord Gajanana, the remover of obstacles. Various puja pandals across Kakatpur have been actively celebrating the occasion. Every evening, cultural programs are being organized at each of these pandals.
While traditional art forms like Pala, Daskathia, and Ghoda Nacha are being performed at some venues, the puja pandal at Ganesh Bazaar has been hosting diverse cultural events for the past three days. Notably, performances of Ghoda Nacha and Pala by renowned artists from Odisha are drawing large crowds.
Spectators have been enjoying these events until late into the night. The attractive idol at the Ganesh Bazaar pandal, along with beautifully decorated arches, is captivating passersby and drawing them into the celebrations.
Puja Committee President Kamal Lochan Dixit, along with Secretaries Manas Kumar Dixit and Soumya Ranjan Das, announced that the immersion ceremony (Bhasani) will take place on the coming Saturday
