Language and Literature Festival Celebrated at Mangala College

A vibrant Language and Literature Festival was organized at Mangala College and Mangala Higher Secondary School, Kakatpur, to promote and popularize modern Odia language, literature, and the culture of Lord Jagannath among students.
As part of the event, various competitions were conducted among students, including quiz, elocution, handwriting, poetry, storytelling, grammar, debates on Odia literature, song, and dance. Additionally, there were screenings of Odia films, discussion circles on Jagannath culture, and seminars on the Odia language and literature.
Students of the college actively participated in all these activities. The week-long festival culminated in a grand celebration on Saturday. During the closing ceremony, the Principal, Professor Dr. Ashok Kumar Tripathy, awarded the winners with certificates, trophies, cash prizes, and commendation letters.
The stage was compered by Senior English Lecturer Benjulata Swain, while senior faculty members Jagannath Dixit, Sukanta Maharana, Dr. Sangram Chatoi, Jyotiprakash Polei, Jitendra Dash, Dr. Manasi Sahu, Prafulla Kumar Nahak, Purna Nayak, Sumit Raut, Debashis Pradhan, and Jharana Behera, along with other professors and lecturers, actively participated in the event.
