Annual Day Celebration Held at St. Xavier’s High School
Kakatpur, 28/01 (Tushar Dixit): The 13th Annual Day celebration of St. Xavier’s High School, one of the leading educational institutions located in Prachi Bihar under the Kakatpur Block Education Department, was conducted in a grand and festive atmosphere on the school campus.
The program, presided over by Durga Charan Parida, was graced by several distinguished guests. Chief guest Tushar Jyoti Ranjan, Block Cluster Development Officer of Kakatpur, attended the function alongside keynote speaker Dillip Kumar Jena, Block Education Officer. Among other esteemed guests were Umesh Chandra Sahu, IIC of Kakatpur Police Station; Jyotirmaya Dalai, former Chairman of Puri Zilla Parishad; Trilochan Mishra; Sharmistha Biswal, School Chairperson; Suresh Chandra Biswal, Secretary; and Kshirod Chandra Barik, Vice-Chairperson.
All guests emphasized the importance of holistic development in students, highlighting that children must not only focus on academic excellence but also strive to become responsible citizens. They also underlined the role of parents in nurturing the social and intellectual growth of their children.
The chairman, Mr. Parida, introduced the guests and presented the annual report of the school. On this occasion, the school’s commemorative wall magazine Footprint and a photo gallery titled Flashback were unveiled by the chief guest.
Meritorious students of the institution were felicitated by the dignitaries. A highlight of the event was a stage play titled “Anutapa” (Repentance), directed by teacher Santosh Panda and performed by the students, which received widespread appreciation.
The entire event was smoothly coordinated by the school’s faculty, including teachers Niranjan Biswal, Latiful Rehman Khan, Bhaktiprabha Biswal, Rajashree Parida, Sarita Sasmala, Krishna Sahu, and Lakshmipriya Das.
