2nd Anniversary of Satyabhama Saraswata Anusthan Celebrated
Satyabadi, 08.05.2023 (Singhari Alok Khuntia): The second anniversary of “Satyabhama Saraswata Anusthan” along with a state-level poetry recital event was organized at the residence of renowned astrologer and commentator Dr. Debi Prasad Mahapatra in Barala village of Satyabadi.
The event was spearheaded by Dr. Mahapatra, a distinguished literary figure and astrology scholar, who also serves as the editor of Satyabhama Saraswata Anusthan. The anniversary celebration was chaired by eminent literary academician Prof. Kailash Chandra Tikayat Ray, with senior litterateurs Bipin Bihari Dalai and retired teacher Manas Ranjan Pattnaik gracing the occasion as honored guests.
During the ceremony, the commemorative souvenir “Satyabhama” was unveiled by the attending dignitaries. As part of the celebration, a poetry recital program was held in which many well-known poets and poetesses from across Odisha participated, presenting their self-composed poems centered around the theme of “Maa” (Mother).
The poetry session was curated by advocate Sarbani Das and folk singer-poet Bijay Pattnaik. Dr. Debi Prasad Mahapatra also presented the editorial note and shared insights into the vision and objectives of the Anusthan.
The event was smoothly conducted by Ramesh Chandra Palei, Vice President of the Satyabadi Block Kala-Sanskriti Sangha (Art & Culture Association).
