“Abhinayana Dance Academy” Inaugurated in Cuttack for the Promotion of Dance”

A new cultural initiative, Abhinayana Dance Academy, has been officially inaugurated at Narayanpur, Trishulia in Cuttack for the development of Odissi dance. The academy has been established through the efforts of internationally acclaimed Odissi dancer Smt. Rozalin Sundaraya. The primary aim of the academy is to expand the reach of Odissi dance education and research, and to make classical music and dance more accessible to school-level students.
The inaugural event was held under the chairmanship of distinguished educator and founder of Autotech Group of Companies, Shri Pratap Shankar Mishra. Among the chief guests were Cuttack District Culture Officer Shri Nilinikantha Sahu, renowned Odissi gurus Dr. Manoranjan Pradhan and Minati Pradhan, and social worker Manoranjan Das. All praised Smt. Rozalin Sundaraya’s sincere efforts to bring Odisha’s rich and ancient art and cultural heritage to young minds.
The event was attended by numerous artists, music and culture enthusiasts, educators, parents, and intellectuals from across Odisha. The opening ceremony was coordinated by Singhari Alok Khuntia, while the academy’s Director and Professor Shri Abhijit Das conducted the proceedings and concluded the program by offering thanks to all present.
