On the occasion of World Peace Day, the students and teachers of Blessed Sacrament High School, located on VIP Road, organized an awareness campaign to promote the message of global peace. In the current scenario, when war-driven developed nations are creating destruction, fear, and instability across the globe, this campaign by the school stands as a peaceful initiative against such tendencies. War not only brings death and devastation but also deprives ordinary people of their fundamental rights.
The campaign aimed to express solidarity with the thousands of innocent, orphaned children and helpless individuals who have lost everything due to war. It also sought to share the message of how essential it is to have a peaceful, beautiful, and healthy world for all of humanity. The students’ committed efforts in spreading this awareness are highly commendable.
The school principal, Sister Mary George, informed that all teachers and students had signed a large banner that read: “We want peace, and let all people across the world, regardless of caste, creed, religion, or region, live in peace.” This banner is to be sent to the United Nations Peace Committee.
The school believes that this humble effort will ignite a spark of peace among students and parents alike.
