Jaipur’s Royal Priest and Eminent Personalities Participate in the National 108-Kundi Mahayajna in Puri
On the fourth day of the National 108-Kundi Shri Shri 1008 Shri Jagannath Parambrahma Vishwakalyan Shanti Mahayajna, organized jointly by Shri Ram Sundarkand Charitable Trust (Govind Godham Goshala) and Shri Sitaram Das Ji Maharaj Balda Dham Vikas Samiti of Rajasthan, several distinguished guests attended the event and performed parikrama (ritual circumambulation) of the yajna site.
Among the notable attendees was the royal priest of Puri Dham from Jaipur, Jayant Kumar Shadangi—a recognized religious figure and former MLA—also known as Pancharangi Chadiwala. He visited the yajna site and took part in the ceremonial rituals. He was joined by many other eminent personalities including Santosh Kumar Sethi, Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Department in Puri; Manoj Kumar Rath, President of Utkal Vidwat Parishad; Bijaykrishna Brahma, Secretary of Shri Ramdaya Parishad; Hitesh Bagarti, former MLA of Khariar, Nuapada; Anil Kumar Sahu, Director of the Puri Urban Co-operative Bank; Omprakash Mishra, National Vice President of Vipra Foundation; Pushpa Mishra, Regional Vice President; Pawan Kumar Sharma, State Vice President; social worker Prem Agrawal; Manohar Sharan Das Ji Maharaj, Mahant of Khatu Shyam Temple in Palsana, Rajasthan; and Madhavan Ji from Bengaluru.

These guests visited the yajna site, witnessed the sacred rituals, and sought blessings from Shri Shri 108 Shri Sitaram Das Ji Maharaj of Balda Dham, Rajasthan. In his address, Jayant Kumar Shadangi shared that his family has been offering regular worship at the Shri Jagannath Temple in Jaipur for generations. He announced that starting the next day, the yajna rituals would be performed by the family of Pandit Chiranjeevi Shastri, the lead priest of the Mahayajna.

Pandit Bishnucharana Panda also made a significant announcement that Govind Godham Goshala would arrange shelter and care for 1,08,000 cows within the next one year in various districts across Odisha. As part of the day’s events, the dignitaries took part in the parikrama around the yajna site and listened to the recitation of the Shrimad Bhagavatam.
