Annual Function “Kanchan-0.2” Celebrated with Grandeur at KBM Kids Public School, Kakatpur

The prestigious educational institution of Kakatpur, KBM Kids Public School, celebrated its annual function “Kanchan – 0.2” – 2025 with great pomp and ceremony at the school premises. The event was coordinated by Saroj Mishra, headmaster of Patitapabana Nodal High School, Otar. Presiding over the function was school director Dibyaranjan Sahu.
Eminent guests gracing the occasion included Professor Himanshu Bhusan Raut and Professor R. K. Mohanty from Mizoram University as Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, respectively. Among other distinguished guests were Block Education Officer Dillip Kumar Jena, Kakatpur Block Chairman Sridhar Nayak, Puri District Deputy Superintendent of Police Bishnu Mohan Pati, Nimapada Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prabhat Ranjan Mallick, and Kakatpur Police Station Officer Umesh Chandra Sahu. Educationist Ranjan Behera and former Block Education Officer Pankajini Dei were also present.
In their addresses, the guests highlighted the essential role of parents in shaping the future of their children, urging them to protect their wards from the misuse of mobile phones and to instill values of humanity along with education. The school’s contribution to the field of education and its diverse initiatives were widely praised.
The event was efficiently managed by Principal Lakshmipriya Bishwal along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff. The celebration is scheduled to continue for two days. On Sunday, a blood donation camp will also be organized on the school campus, as announced by the school’s co-director Alok Ranjan Pani.
The initiative of director Dibyaranjan Sahu received appreciation from intellectuals across Kakatpur. Parents of enrolled students and a large number of community intellectuals were seen attending the event.
