Astaranga Press Club Celebrates 9th Foundation Day and Reunion with Grandeur

The Astaranga Press Club celebrated its 9th Foundation Day and annual reunion yesterday at Astaranga with great enthusiasm. The event was presided over by Club President Sharata Kumar Parida. Renowned social worker Pratap Chandra Parida graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He cut the anniversary cake and extended New Year greetings to all members, while expressing his hope for the club’s continued success. He emphasized the vital role journalists play in serving the nation and society.
During the program, a proposal was adopted to recognize and felicitate local talents on the upcoming Republic Day, January 26. The event was anchored by coordinator Shobhakara Behera. Key members and dignitaries present included senior member and Kalyan Panthi president Pramod Das, Mamata Jena, Trilochan Behera, Alekh Biswal, Anil Barik, Priyabrata Muduli, Prashanta Jena, and Akshaya Prasad Mohanty, all of whom contributed to the success of the event.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the club’s secretary, Brundaban Biswal.
