137th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra Celebrated at Balakati

With the blessings of Balakati Satsang Bihar and the dedicated efforts of local devotees and volunteers, the 137th birth anniversary of the revered Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra was celebrated with great devotion, along with the 8th Annual Inauguration Memorial Festival of Balakati Satsang Bihar. The celebrations began in the early morning with Usha Kirtan followed by Usha Binati (prayers at dawn). A grand procession (Shobhayatra) featuring Sri Sri Thakur circumambulated the town.
Before the main Satsang, a devotional music (Bhajananjali) program was held. Afterward, Ritwiks Sriyukta Gopabandhu Nayak, Swainshree Nrusingha Srichandan, and Mrutyunjaya Das lit the ceremonial lamp to begin the spiritual proceedings. Renowned devotional singer Keshab Sahu performed an invocation song, enriching the spiritual ambiance.
The main Satsang session was conducted under the priestly guidance of Swainshree Nrusingha Srichandan. This was followed by a Satyānusaraṇa recitation by Bishnu Charan Boitai. Devotees were deeply moved by the devotional songs and spiritual experiences shared during the session. Ritwik Sriyukta Gopabandhu Nayak delivered the keynote address, reflecting on the teachings of Thakur.
The session concluded with a devotional song by Deepak Kumar Mahapatra, and the Satsang assembly was formally closed by Ritwik Mrutyunjaya Das. Following the Satsang, a cultural program took place on stage, where young children showcased their talents through dance performances. At 2:30 PM, a special Matrusammilani (Mothers’ Gathering) was held.
Key volunteers from Balakati Satsang Kendra who contributed to the success of the event included Saroj Kumar Sahu, Anil Kumar Nayak, Sheshadev Khatua, Santosh Kumar Das, Prafulla Kumar Sahu, Baikuntha Behera, Manoj Nayak, Bishnu Charan Boitai, Mrutyunjaya Das (Ritwik), Ratnakar Swain (Ritwik), Swainshree Nrusingha Srichandan (Ritwik), and Bipin Bihari Nayak (Ritwik).
After the Satsang, devotees visited Ananda Bazaar to partake in Prasad and returned home with the spiritual message of Sri Sri Thakur in their hearts. Approximately 2,000 devotees attended the celebration.
