BJP Organizes ‘Bandhu Milan’ on the Occasion of National Hindu New Year
Ganjam District: 30/03/2025 (Epili Purnachandra): On the occasion of the National Hindu New Year, a grand Bandhu Milan (fellowship gathering) program was organized under the leadership of the Mandal presidents of Kukudakhandi and Digapahandi blocks, which fall under the Digapahandi assembly constituency. The event was held near the Maa Khemundi Kalua Temple in Digapahandi with the participation of several party leaders and workers.
The meeting was presided over and managed by Ankushpur Mandal President A. Babula Patra. The main discussion topic was how to achieve massive victories in the upcoming 2027 Panchayat elections, including the posts of Sarpanch, Samiti Member, and Zilla Parishad candidates, said Mr. Patra.
The program began with the singing of the patriotic song “Bande Utkala Janani.” Discussions focused on strengthening the organization and addressing fundamental public issues.
Among those present were Krushak Morcha President Chinmaya Nanda Maharaj, Paresh Chandra Rath, Digapahandi Block Representative of Brahmapur MP Haribandhu Reddy, Deepak Mahapatra, Balipada Mandal President Lalit Mohan Bishoyi, Mitu Dora, Shashanka Kara, Arun Gouda, Kunj Bihari Panda, Madan Mohan Patra, Baulajholi Samiti Member Representative Sanatan Sangram Singh, and several senior functionaries. They deliberated on strategies to strengthen the party further.
The meeting also included discussions on how the Hindu New Year should be celebrated in every panchayat going forward. Key functionaries from all panchayats were present, and issues and their solutions were discussed at length.
In closing, Ankushpur Mandal President Mr. Patra thanked all the party workers for their participation and formally concluded the meeting.
