Sangama Akshaya Milan 2023 Held
Kakatpur: On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Sangama Akshaya Milan 2023 was organized by Sangama Charitable Trust at Trinath Mandap in Olmara, under Bamanala Panchayat of Nimapada Block. On this occasion, various programs were conducted, including a state-level poets’ meet, literary discussions, felicitation of eminent personalities, competitions in traditional folk art forms like jhoti, muruja, kanda naacha, hulahuli, and conch blowing, and awards for accomplished women.
The event was presided over by Sangama chairman Gangadhar Ojha. Editor Manoj Kumar Nayak highlighted the objectives and program details of the event. Distinguished guests included poets honored by the Central and State Sahitya Academies such as Dr. Bansidhar Sadanangi, satirical poet Shri Satyanash, Sampad Kumar Rath, and poet Prabhakar.
The organization also honored talented poets, students, social workers, and media representatives. A cultural program was held at the end. In this festival, our Nimapada correspondent Santosh Dash was felicitated with the Sangama Distinguished Journalist Award. Bharat Chandra Sahu delivered the vote of thanks.
