Jayadeep Karmakar Honored with the “Maheshwar Bhai Smruti Samman”
In Keonjhar district, the 42nd Annual Cultural Festival of Sri Aurobindo Integral Education Institution, located on Mining Road, was celebrated under the chairmanship of Shri Dasharathi Mishra.
The event was graced by Shri Sanjay Kumar Samal, Chief Manager of State Bank of India, as the chief guest, and Professor Sudha Das from Dharanidhar University as the keynote speaker. In his address, Prof. Sudha Das discussed the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and encouraged students to follow his ideals, become good students, and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
During the celebration, meritorious students who excelled in the school’s annual science fair, sports, and elocution competitions were felicitated by the guests.
Two distinguished teachers, Shri Dolagobinda Parida and Shri Kailash Chandra Mishra, were honored with the title of “Ideal Educator” in recognition of their deep affection for students, high-quality teaching, dedication to duty, and for inspiring creativity among students.
In a special highlight of the festival, former Class 10 student Shri Jayadeep Karmakar was honored with the “Maheshwar Bhai Smruti Samman” for his achievements and creativity. The award was presented by Bharati Mahakud, the wife of the late Maheshwar Bhai, under the banner of “Pratyabartan”.
The event also featured captivating dance performances by students, which reflected elements of spirituality and showcased the rich art and culture of Odisha through their choreography.
