Shree Mandir Project Begins, 3-Member Delegation Visits Maa Mangala for Invitation
Kakatpur (Tushar Dixit), Date: 26/12:
January 17 will mark a golden chapter in the history of Odisha, Shri Kshetra (Puri), and the Shree Jagannath Temple. The long-awaited Shree Mandir Parikrama Project (temple heritage corridor) will be officially inaugurated on that day. Grand preparations for the event have already been initiated by the temple administration.
To make this spiritual occasion a nationwide celebration, a draft plan has been prepared to invite key dignitaries across India. Invitations are being extended to prominent religious leaders from the four Dhams, heads of renowned temples, spiritual gurus, and distinguished personalities.
As part of this initiative, on the occasion of Margasira Purnima (full moon day)—which is today—a three-member delegation from the Shree Mandir administration visited Kakatpur in Puri district to extend a formal invitation to Goddess Maa Mangala, the presiding deity of the region.
The delegation was led by Nodal Officer Sudhakar Hota, along with senior Daitapati Sevayat Binayak Das Mahapatra and one other representative. Upon arrival, the delegation was received by the President of the Mangala Temple Trust and local Tehsildar Ankita Anandita, and Temple Executive Officer Kailash Chandra Das, among others. They were ceremoniously guided into the temple for the formal invitation.
Nodal Officer Mr. Hota stated that on January 17, two representatives from the Maa Mangala Temple Trust have been officially invited to attend the grand inauguration ceremony of the Parikrama Project.
