Annual Award Ceremony Celebrated at Bangurigaan Girls’ High School
Kakatpur, 03/03 – The annual award distribution ceremony of Bangurigaan Girls’ High School under Kakatpur Block was celebrated with enthusiasm on the school premises. The event focused on how students can not only excel in academics but also develop their inherent talents. To encourage this, the school organizes various school-level competitions, helping students achieve recognition at district, state, and national levels. This effort was highlighted by the headmaster and chair of the event, Mr. Santunu Kumar Mishra, who described it as the school’s small yet significant initiative.
A major highlight of the event was the generous donation of ₹1 lakh made by esteemed guest Gunanidhi Jena, a member of the Gram Panchayat Samiti of Jaleswar, along with his mother and former Sarpanch Kanchan Bala. The donation was made for the purchase of supporting materials for the school. The headmaster announced that this fund would be used to buy computers, enabling the provision of quality education through technology.
Former Block Education Officer Santunu Kumar Parida attended the function as the chief guest, along with other notable educationists such as Bholanath Raut, Salyan Kumar Patra, Sadhu Charan Sahu, Prafulla Kumar Sahu, and Bhagaban Sahu. They encouraged the meritorious students and distributed awards to those who excelled in various fields.
