Memorial Meeting and Statue Unveiling Ceremony of Educationist Rabindra Das
Kakatpur (Tushar Ranjan Dixit) – 4/11:
On the occasion of the first death anniversary (Shraddha) of the late educationist Rabindranath Das, former teacher from Kakatpur block in Puri district, a memorial meeting was organized at the Mahavir Kalyan Mandap in local Yogeswarpura.
The event was coordinated by teacher Pratap Kumar Raut. As chief guests at the memorial meeting, State Home and Revenue Minister Tusharkanti Behera, CPI leader Ashish Kanungo, teacher leader Madhab Biswal, Vice President of Puri Zilla Parishad Swadhin Kumar Nayak, Prakash Chandra Parida, Dillip Kumar Jena, Jnanaranjan Sahoo, Jyotirmaya Dalai, and Pranakrishna Mallik attended and paid tribute to the late Das.
On this occasion, Minister Behera unveiled the statue of the late Das in front of his residence. A commemorative souvenir titled Rabi Ratna, published by his wife and son-in-law Laxmidhar Raut, was also unveiled by the guests.
The memorial ceremony witnessed participation from numerous teachers, educators, and intellectuals from areas including Nimapada, Gop, Kakatpur, Astaranga, Pipili, and Bhubaneswar.
