Annual Function of Jahan Public School: Enthusiastic Students Shine
Kakatpur (Tushar Dixit), 14/01 — The annual function of Jahan Public School, titled “Kanchan”, was celebrated in a grand and vibrant atmosphere within the school premises under the chairmanship of Mamata Mahapatra.
The chief guest for the event was State Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Home Affairs, Tusharkanti Behera. The keynote speaker was Block Education Officer Dillip Kumar Jena. Other notable attendees included former Puri Zilla Parishad President Jyotirmaya Dalai, comedian Shankar Pradhan, and the school’s director Sumitra Ghosh.
During the event, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of Jahan Public School in fostering a strong educational environment in rural areas. They also emphasized the role of parents in supporting the intellectual development of their children.
Students who excelled in various academic and extracurricular categories throughout the year were awarded prizes. Teacher Satyaranjan Mahapatra offered a vote of thanks to all the guests, students, parents, and spectators.
Teachers Ashish Kumar Sahu, Madhusmita Padhiari, Manisha Mohanty, Lopamudra Priyadarshini, Asma Khatun, along with all other staff members, worked together to make the event a success.
The function also featured cultural performances by young students, including a series of short plays. The dramatic presentations by the students were especially impressive, showcasing a remarkable level of knowledge and creativity
