The sacred festivals of Janmashtami and Nanda Utsav were celebrated with great enthusiasm at the campus of KBM Kintu Public School in Kakatpur, with active participation from young students.
Since the school was closed on Monday for Janmashtami, the celebration was held in advance on Saturday. On this occasion, the students dressed up as Radha, Krishna, Balaram, Nanda, Yashoda, Devaki, Vasudeva, and other characters from Lord Krishna’s life. With great joy and excitement, they performed dances, sang devotional songs, and enacted short plays in the school premises to celebrate the festival.
The Radha-Krishna duet dance performance by the little children was particularly charming and captivating. The event was organized through the combined efforts of the school’s management committee and teaching staff.
Divyaranjan Sahu, the Director of the school run by the Shikshar Bikash Educational Trust, stated that KBM School has always prioritized promoting Odisha’s folk culture, heritage, and traditions.
