Utkalmani’s Ideals Becoming a Blessing for Children

On Tuesday, teachers Anusuya Mahapatra, Bijayinee Barajena, and Snigdha Tripathy from St. Francis Xavier’s High School, Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar, accompanied a group of schoolgirls on an educational tour to the sacred birthplace of Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das, located in Suaando under the Satyabadi constituency in Puri district.
During the visit, the students toured the museum and watched a short documentary film based on the life of Utkalmani, which highlighted his sacrifices and selfless service. In addition to this, they observed a lifelike statue of Utkalmani and viewed detailed exhibits depicting his life and legacy inside the museum.
The children and teachers also visited Utkalmani’s ancestral house (Shathighar), where they felt as though history had come alive before their eyes. Immersed in the rich atmosphere, the students felt deeply inspired and emotionally connected.
They returned from the trip having internalized the values and ideals of Utkalmani, carrying them forward as guiding principles in their own lives.
