Free Health Camp Organized by Rotary Club
Kakatpur, 25/6: A mega health service camp was organized in the premises of Bajpur Primary School under Kakatpur block, in collaboration with the school’s alumni association and Bhubaneswar Metro Rotary Club.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Das, President of the organizing Rotary Club. A team of specialist doctors from Bhubaneswar in various fields—including dermatology, ENT, gynecology and obstetrics, ophthalmology, medicine, surgery, physiotherapy, and dentistry—attended the camp and provided treatment to nearly 300 patients. Free medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
The event saw active participation and support from over 50 former students of the school, including Alumni Association President Premananda Subuddhi, Secretary Surendra Manik, Gagan Bihari Patra, Surendra Nath Sahu, Dr. Ramachandra Behera, Pratap Kumar Sahu, Kailash Chandra Sahu, Pradeepta Kumar Prusty, Prabhas Kumar Prusty, Bijay Kumar Sahu, Dharmananda Subuddhi, Gagan Bihari Sahu, and Sangram Keshari Sahu.
More than 300 patients from the Kundhei Panchayat and surrounding areas benefited from the free health services provided at the camp.
