Shri Ram Navami Celebrated in Kakatpur
Region Resonates with Chants of Lord Ram
Kakatpur, 30/3 (P.P.S) – On the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Navami, grand celebrations were held at the Shri Ram Mandir located within the Kakatpur temple premises and at the Ram Mandir in Kundhei. The event was marked by great devotion and festivity.
On this occasion, Lord Shri Ram, Lakshman, Goddess Sita, and Hanuman were adorned with new clothes and ornaments. After the completion of traditional rituals, the temple doors were opened for public darshan. Hundreds of devotees and fasting women from Kakatpur and surrounding areas gathered to offer prayers and have a glimpse of Lord Ram.
Hanuman Chalisa recitations and sacred homa rituals were also performed in the temple premises. With the support of Satyasanatani Sangathan and Bajrangi Dal, a beautifully decorated chariot carrying the photo of Lord Ram paraded through the local marketplace, accompanied by devotional chanting.
Prominent local figures such as Mihir Dikhit, Kabula Biswal, Sudarshan Swain, and Kailash Nayak led the organizing efforts of the event.
