9th Foundation Anniversary of “Prachi Shreekhetra” Jagannath Temple Celebrated
Bangurigaan, 30/05 (Samisa): The 9th Foundation Day and Yajna Ceremony of the “Prachi Shreekhetra” Jagannath Temple, located at Anand Bazaar under Kakatpur Block, was celebrated with devotion and grandeur. A major highlight of the event was the “Ratna Mudra” ritual of Prachi Vishwanath, which took place within the temple premises.
The ceremony began with a vibrant Kalasha Yatra, where over a hundred devotees brought sacred water from the Prachi River in pots and installed them in the temple grounds. Under the leadership of Pandit Ravi Narayan Kar and Amulya Kumar Kar, the rituals were conducted in collaboration with Pandits Lakshmidhar Mishra, Niranjan Mishra, Sarat Mishra, Arun Tripathy, Manoranjan Kar, Chandan Mishra, Jyoti Shankar Satapathy, Kali Prasad Mishra, and Pandit Neelakantha.
The Yajna and Ratna Mudra ritual concluded in a deeply spiritual and joyful atmosphere. Offerings made by devotees — including gold, silver, paddy, and other metals — were used in the ceremonial Ratna Mudra to consecrate the temple.
The successful organization of the event was made possible by the tireless dedication of Shree Jagannath Temple Trust Chairman Bichitrananda Nayak and all trust members and villagers of Anand Bazaar. The Yajna was conducted over two days, during which the entire region was immersed in a devotional environment.
The celebration concluded with the serving of Mahaprasad, which was enjoyed by hundreds of devotees who actively participated and experienced the spiritual bliss of Prachi Shreekhetra at Anand Bazaar.
