Illegal Sand Truck Seized, Electricity Pole Thieves Arrested

Kakatpur, 13/9: Kakatpur Police have achieved significant success. Acting on a tip-off regarding illegal transportation of minor minerals, the Kakatpur Police conducted a weekly special drive and seized two highway trucks loaded with illegal sand from the Othaka road. The registration numbers of the trucks are OD02B K5475 and OD02BW5475. Both vehicles were brought to the police station, and separate cases were registered under case numbers 183/23 and 184/23.

Similarly, during a midnight patrol near Sarangdharpur, police apprehended three youths while they were attempting to cut down electric pole pipes. The accused were arrested on the spot and a case was registered under case number 182/23. After conducting a medical examination, the three individuals were forwarded to court under Sections 379 and 34 of the IPC and Section 3 of the PDPP Act.

Kakatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Umesh Kumar Sahu, along with his special team, nabbed the culprits while patrolling at night during the act of stealing electric pole materials.
