Identity Cards Distributed to Senior Citizens

An emergency meeting of the Odisha Corruption Resistance Forum, Kakatpur branch, was held at the local Bishwamitra Math premises under the chairmanship of the forum’s president Kailash Chandra Nayak. The meeting was conducted under the guidance of the forum’s advisor and retired administrator Kailash Chandra Baral, and attended by senior citizens aged above fifty from the Kakatpur block.
The chief guest at the meeting was Nimapada SDPO Prabhat Kumar Mallik, and the honored guest was Kakatpur Police Station IIC Umesh Chandra Sahu. They explained in detail to the attending senior citizens the importance of the senior citizen identity cards issued by the Puri District SP, as well as various government benefits available to them.
Nineteen senior citizens were presented with identity cards by Mr. Mallik during the program. In addition, ten new senior citizens from the Kakatpur block area submitted applications for their identity cards.
Among others present at the event were forum advisor Kailash Nayak, editor Lakshmidhar Seth, vice president Sadhu Charan Biswal, Pandit Trilochan Mishra, Rajkishore Acharya, Kailash Chandra Dash, Yudhisthir Behera, Radhu Charan Panda, Kalyan Sahu, Radha Shyam Pradhan, Prakash Dash, Ramesh Chandra Biswal, Mandar Dhar Mahanti, Prabhakar Khuntia, Mandar Dhar Mahanti, and officials from the Corruption Resistance Forum and Senior Citizens Forum, who all shared their valuable opinions.
Prakash Chandra Dash provided full support for the organization of the event. The meeting concluded with Kailash Chandra Baral expressing thanks to all participants and marking the end of the program.
