New IIC Welcomed by Press Club in Kakatpur

Following the transfer of Officer-in-Charge Umesh Chandra Sahu from Kakatpur Police Station, Bijay Ketan Behera has now taken over the charge as the new Inspector-in-Charge (IIC). Prior to this, Mr. Behera had served successfully at Satyabadi Police Station in Puri district.

Today, the Kakatpur Press Club extended a warm welcome and felicitation to the newly appointed IIC. The event was led by Press Club President Kamal Lochan Dixit, Vice-President Tushar Ranjan Dixit, Secretary Aditya Kumar Raut, Treasurer Bhagabat Swain, and members including Pradeep Kumar Panda, Pradeepta Kumar Dixit, Prabhat Kumar Dixit, Prabhas Kumar Prusti, Prashanta Jena, Purnachandra Panda, Nrusingha Behera, and Manas Kumar Dixit, along with other notable journalists. They welcomed Mr. Behera with a shawl and bouquet.

In his address, Mr. Behera assured that he would work to ensure that the general public under Kakatpur Police jurisdiction receives the best possible service and that the police become a trusted institution among the people.
