House Gutted in Fire, Satyabadi MLA Stands by Victim’s Family

Upon receiving news of a devastating fire at the residence of Harasha Parida in Munida village under Biraramchandrapur Panchayat of Satyabadi block, Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra promptly visited the spot and met the affected family.
Accompanying him were Satyabadi Additional Tahsildar and local Sarpanch Barsha Rani Sethy, who jointly surveyed the site, met the victim’s family, and expressed their sympathy. The MLA also assured governmental financial assistance.
The fire incident in Munida village had destroyed two thatched houses of Harasha Parida, along with rice, paddy, household items, and essential documents, causing significant damage.
MLA Om Prakash Mishra reached the affected household around 10 AM on Sunday, closely assessing the situation and interacting with the family. He promised to provide a new house under the housing scheme within the next three months.
As the house’s important belongings and documents were still buried under ashes and debris, he provided immediate financial aid to clean and recover them.
He instructed Additional Tahsildar Rajesh Priyadarshi and Amin Mrutyunjay Singh to prepare a damage assessment report and ensure that the family receives necessary government assistance at the earliest.
Also present during the relief activity were Panchayat Sarpanch Barsha Rani Sethy, Mandal President Umesh Pradhan, Surendra Pradhan, and former Sarpanch Har Ratha, among others.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to MLA Om Prakash Mishra for promptly standing by the affected family during this difficult time and for arranging timely assistance.
