15th Kali Puja Festival Organized by Puri Railway Station Taxi Association

The 15th annual Kali Puja festival was celebrated by the Puri Railway Station Taxi Association under the supervision of Somnath Sahu. Along with the religious observance, a variety of cultural programs were also presented.
Last evening, during the cultural event, Rajya Sabha MP Subashish Khuntia graced the occasion as the chief guest. Among the distinguished guests were Additional District Magistrate Kailash Chandra Nayak, Additional Superintendent of Police Bishnuprasad Pati, Debabrata Chakra, Sushil Kumar Mishra, City DSP Prashant Kumar Sahu, Rabinarayan Bhanja, senior advocate Surendra Mahapatra, city women’s leader Binodini Das, and youth organizer Amarendra Paikaray. Many prominent personalities from Puri city were also present on stage.
During the event, association president Kabichandra Paikaray presented the annual report and placed several demands on behalf of the organization. After listening to these demands, MP Subashish Khuntia assured that all the requests would be fulfilled very soon. He also gave a firm commitment to provide a modern ambulance for Puri Railway Station.
Following this, several senior members and leaders from various organizations in Puri were honored with certificates of appreciation, flower bouquets, and ceremonial shawls (uttariya). The program concluded with cultural performances by artists from outside the district, which were enjoyed by all attendees.
