New Branch of Bank of India Inaugurated by Kakatpur Tahsildar Ankita Anindita
Kakatpur, 18/03 – (Tushar Dixit) – While Bank of India has branches all over the world, there are 119 branches in Odisha alone, with 81 of them located in the Bhubaneswar zone. Continuing its expansion, a new branch has been inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Mangalbar near the old Kakatpur bus stand, with the support of the Padma Charan Samantsingh Trust.
The branch was officially inaugurated by Odisha Zone General Manager of the bank, Vikash Krishna, and Kakatpur Tahsildar Ankita Anindita, by cutting the ribbon. They were joined by Bhubaneswar Zone Manager Bijay Kumar Malik, Deputy Manager Ashok Kumar Jena, and Branch Head Bikash Rautray. During the event, the attendees were briefed on the bank’s operational efficiency and how it aims to earn the trust of the general public.
Regional Manager Debashis Dash conducted the event and introduced the guests. The first account opened in the new branch was for the Mangala Temple Trust, which received a deposit of ₹5,000 from the bank. The passbook was handed over to Executive Officer Kailash Chandra Dash by the General Manager.
Padma Charan Samantsingh Trust’s chief Swadhin Kumar Nayak was honored by the zone manager with a shawl and bouquet. Other notable attendees included Sarpanch Abhaya Sethi, Himansu Bhusan Dixit, Pranakrishna Mallik, Zilla Parishad member Sanyukta Dixit, and all branch staff.
