DJ Sound System Seized on Grand Road for Violating Magistrate’s Order
Puri: 16/1/2026 – The police seized a DJ sound system that was being played on Grand Road in violation of the terms and conditions imposed by the competent Magistrate.
According to official sources, the sound system was operating beyond the permitted limits and timings, causing public disturbance. Acting on the violation, the police immediately intervened and seized the DJ equipment.
A prosecution report (PR) has been submitted against the violators under Section 5 of the Fireworks and Loudspeaker Act. The accused have been directed to face trial in the court of law as per due legal procedure.
Police authorities have reiterated that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating court orders related to loudspeakers, DJ systems, and public nuisance. Citizens have been urged to cooperate with the administration to maintain peace, law, and order in public places.
