187 Units of Blood Collected on Biju Babu’s Death Anniversary, with Participation from Home Minister
On the death anniversary of the legendary leader of Odisha, Biju Patnaik, a mega blood donation camp was organized at the Deuli Math in Kakatpur under the auspices of the Biju Janata Dal and Odisha Mo Parivar. Following the direction of the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, the party had instructed for various activities like blood donation, cleanliness drives, and social service across the state. As part of this initiative, the event in Deuli Math, Kakatpur, concluded successfully today.
Kakatpur MLA and Minister of State for Home Affairs, Tusharkanti Behera, formally inaugurated the blood donation camp by offering floral tributes to the statue of Biju Babu. The Minister himself donated blood at the camp and called upon the youth to participate in this noble cause of blood donation.
A total of 187 units of blood were collected from the constituency during the camp. The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Puri Zilla Parishad Vice President Swadhin Kumar Nayak, former Zilla Parishad Chairman Jyotimaya Dalai, BJD Block President Pran Krishna Mallik, MP representative Gyan Ranjan Sahu, Minister’s representative Kabiraj Bishwal, Sarpanch Abhaya Kumar Sethy, youth leaders Biswajit Das, Himanshu Bhusan Dixit, Shiva Charan Patra, along with numerous Biju Yuva and Chhatra Janata party workers and supporters.
