Deputy Chief Minister Concludes Heritage Walk, Announces ₹50 Crore for Mangala Temple Development

The Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, and Minister for Tourism, Women and Child Welfare, and Women Empowerment, Smt. Pravati Parida, today concluded her heritage walk after offering prayers at the Purneswari Temple in Nimapada. As part of the walk, she first visited her paternal home in Nibhara.
From there, accompanied by hundreds of supporters and traditional music, she walked to Balara, where she was welcomed by Bharatiya Janata Party leaders from Kakatpur, including Ratikanta Behera, Rakesh Kumar Bishwal, Upendra Subudhi, Kailash Chandra Nayak, Mangala Samantray, and Sumitra Ghosh, who greeted her with flower bouquets and traditional scarves, escorting her to the sacred Mangala Temple.
Upon arrival at the temple, local trustees and officials, including Tahasildar Ankita Anindita, BDO Bishnu Gobinda, Executive Officer Kailash Chandra Dash, Sevayat Nijog President Manoranjan Panda, Vice President Kamal Lochan Dixit, Advisor Committee Members Tushar Ranjan Dixit, Himanshu Bhushan Dixit, and Manas Dixit, warmly welcomed her with ceremonial offerings.

After visiting the Mangala Temple and performing rituals, the Deputy Chief Minister announced a massive allocation of ₹50 crore for the development and renovation of the Mangala Temple, much to the delight of the local community and temple administration.
