24th Annual Sports Day at Surendra Nath Bidyapitha
Astaranga, Puri District – The 24th Annual Sports Festival of Surendra Nath Bidyapitha, located in Sundar under Astaranga block, was held over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday. On the first day of the event, the Sarpanch of Patlada Gram Panchayat, Shri Yashobanta Nayak, attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the festival.
Among those present at the event were the school’s Headmaster Shri Prakash Kumar Behera, Bichitrananda Biswal, sports teacher Pitabas Barik, Dhirendra Pradhan, Prakash Kumar Bhol, Dhananjay Swain, Bikash Behura, Lingaraj Parida, Damayanti Dei, Priyadarshini Senapati, Archana Sethy, Swagatika Das, Tunilata Mohanty, Ajay Kumar Sahu, Rabindra Swain, and former school secretary Prafulla Nayak.
During the festival, students who had excelled in various sports categories were felicitated and awarded by the guests.
Similarly, the Annual Sports Meet was also held over two days at Janata High School, Bantilo, under the same block. This event was coordinated by Headmaster Dillip Kumar Parida and teacher Chittaranjan Biswal.
